Consumer Rights Commission of Pakistan (CRCP) in collaboraon with Citizens Voice Project (CVP), USAID undertook the Natural Gas Governance Initiative (NGGI) in Pakistan. The initiative analyzed the governance of gas sector in Pakistan with the lens of four principles of good governance i.e. Transparency, Participation, Accountability and Capacity.

Policy process, regulatory process,environmental and social concerns, and the role of CSOs and donors were analyzed during the course of this study.

CRCP has been actively campaigning for Freedom of Information / RTI laws and their implementation in the country for the past 17 years. This brief presents review of proactive disclosure by 80 public bodies (including provincial Departments along with a few of their allied organizations, autonomous bodies, and public sector companies) of Punjab.
