CRCP has established Consumer Complaint and Redress Forum (CCRF) for handling consumer complaints under its Law and Governance Unit. The CCRF handles complaints according to the policy devised by CRCP. CCRF also extends legal advice to its members and citizens at large, who have some grievance against the civic agencies and market practices. Following are the general Guidelines on submitting complaints to CCRF and processing of complaints:

  • Consumer Complaints regarding goods and services are always welcome.
  • Complaints involving personal feuds and not related to consumer issues are not entertained.
  • Strict impartiality is observed while processing consumer complaints.
  • Views/ comments of both sides are always obtained while handling consumer complaints.
  • Complaints regarding subjudice matters are not entertained.
